Learning & Development Consultant

This international Fashion Retail brand is changing and making steady progress. Especially in The Netherlands (core market), they are outperforming. The company is looking to make further improvements to their organization, and due to this fact this specific position comes into play. As L&D Consultant you will, together with the L&D Manager be part of an exciting transformation and play a fundamental role in realizing and shaping the future.

Our client is looking for the right person to drive the L&D activities and learning culture. You will be responsible to identify, create and design, implement and lead L&D initiatives and create a thriving continuous learing atmosphere which is supported by a wide range of L&D tools and means.

Responsibilities

  • Identify the training needs of the organization and it’s employees, to develop, set up, roll out, train and coach the Learning and Development activities and training programs within the company
  • Make sure that the Learning and Development strategy is aligned with the overall HR and company strategy and business goals
  • Ensure alignment of Learning and Development with the Performance Management cycle
  • Select and manage relationships with external training agencies/partners
  • Work closely with our L&D manager for the implementation of Talent Management within organization
  • Lead projects to implement new training activities (this includes the development of e-learning within the company)
  • Align with managers, HR Managers within Europe to roll out L&D activities in all countries
  • Planning and organization of Learning and Development 

Qualifications & Competencies

  • University/Bachelor degree within Human Resources or related fields
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in L&D/Human Resources 
  • Significant experience with the actual design and creation of L&D tools and programs
  • Passion for Fashion Retail, HR and L&D
  • Strong project Management skills
  • Training & coaching skills
  • Planning & organization skills
  • Result focused & handson mentality
  • High energy
  • Strong communicator and fluent in English
