Global Head of HR

To support this ambition, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Global Head of HR who will be based at their headquarters (Tricht, near Culemborg), report directly to the CEO, and lead a (global) HR team. Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Leadership:

  • Develop and implement global HR strategies aligned with Intero’s business objectives and growth plans.
  • Lead initiatives to standardize and professionalize HR processes across all regional organisations, ensuring consistency and alignment with corporate values and goals.
  • Drive HR transformation projects to enhance operational efficiency, employee, and customer experience.

Team management

  • Hierarchically manage a team of 3 HR professionals supporting Europe and corporate staff departments (including R&D), based at the HQ.
  • Functionally oversee a team of 5-10 HR professionals based in our international regional offices, ensuring cohesive HR practices across all locations.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities for HR team members.

Talent Management & Development

  • Design and oversee comprehensive talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent across all regions.
  • Develop robust onboarding programs to integrate new employees seamlessly into the company culture.
  • Create and implement employee development programs, including training, mentoring, and career progression plans.
  • Lead performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms.

Employee Relations & Engagement:

  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with Intero’s core values.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance job satisfaction and retention.
  • Address and resolve employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to management and staff.
  • Implement effective communication strategies to keep employees informed and engaged.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Oversee the development and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs.
  • Conduct regular benchmarking to ensure Intero remains an employer of choice in all regions.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations in all countries of operation.

HR Operations & Compliance:

  • Streamline HR operations to improve efficiency and service delivery
  • Ensure compliance with global and local employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Oversee the implementation and utilization of HR information systems (HRIS) for better data management and reporting.

HR Metrics & Reporting:

  • Develop and track HR metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on HR-related trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Utilize data to drive continuous improvement in HR practices.

Skills/Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a global or regional HR leadership roles
  • Proven experience in managing HR functions across multiple countries and cultures.

Technical Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of global HR practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives.

Leadership & Interpersonal Skills:

  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
